White Chocolate And Macadamia Nut Cookies
Ingredients
1. 270 g of flour
2. 1 C. coffee of cornstarch
3. 1 C. baking soda
4. 1 pinch of fleur de sel (salt)
5. 170 g of softened butter
6. 120 g of white sugar
7. 120 g of brown sugar
8. 1 egg + 1 egg yolk (at room temperature)
9. 200 g of white chocolate
10. 120 g of macadamia nuts, crushed into large pieces (salted is even better)

Preparation
1. In a salad bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, cornstarch, salt) using a whisk and set aside.
2. Beat the softened butter with the brown and white sugar until well combined in a large bowl.
3. Then add the whole egg, whisk then add the egg yolk. Whisk again.
4. Pour the contents of the bowl (wet ingredients) into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix well with a wooden spatula or with your little hands.
5. Break the white chocolate with a knife to obtain nuggets, and then add them to the dough with the nuts.
6. Cover the dough and place in the refrigerator for min 2 hours (mandatory step to obtain beautiful cookies)
7. Take the dough out of the fridge and leave it at room temperature for 20 minutes.
8. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 160 ° and prepare a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
9. Then form baby balls of dough and place them on top.
10. Bake the cookies for 10min (they should start to brown slightly on the sides and be light in the center). The cookies will be soft when they come out of the oven.
11. Before moving them, let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet.
